Within Family Chiropractic we have three Chiropractic Physicians.
Dr. David Duemling, P.C., C.C.W.P.
Upon first meeting Dr. David, you will find yourself engaged and excited about your health potential, as he has a passion for educating and empowering his patients to take the steps necessary for wellness. Dr. David has an incredible ability to pass his positive energy and excitement on to educate and motivate his patients with each visit.
Dr. David was born and raised in the Bay Area of California. He graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1989 and has owned Family Chiropractic since 1991. After graduation from Western State Chiropractic College he enjoyed participating in a multi-disciplinary sports injury rehabilitation center.
In May, 2008 Dr. David became a board certified wellness practitioner who enjoys teaching classes throughout the community to help everyone achieve their optimal level of health. Classes range from the ever popular "Eat Well, Think Well, Move Well" to " Stretching and Strengthening", injury prevention, core stability, balance improvement and healthy cooking.
Dr. David also focuses on furthering his own education and development by attending monthly continuing educational opportunities to offer you the the most relevant in the wellness arena.
On top of being a great Chiropractor, he walks his talk and is passionate about exercise both in and out of the office. In 2014 Dr. David made it to the masters regional in CrossFit and loves the challenge it offers. He also received his level 1 trainer certification to help others maximize their performance as well as prevent and recover injuries. He is also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying time with his wife, traveling, snow and water skiing, windsurfing, mountain biking, and tinkering with nearly anything mechanical.
Dr. David is involved in many community groups. In the past, he was co-president of the Oregon Chiropractic Association, has served as Vice President of the Oregon Doctors of Chiropractic, is a member of the Oregon Chiropractic Association, Chiropractic Leadership Alliance, International Chiropractic Association, and the Wilsonville Chamber of Commerce.
Even while on vacation he can't help doing what he loves-helping people! Dr. David Juratovac
Dr. David Juratovac was raised in Oregon City and moved to Minneapolis, MN for his college career. He attended St. John’s University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in biology. Dr J remained in Minneapolis to complete his chiropractic education at Northwestern Health Sciences University, graduating as a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2016.
Dr. J is currently working towards his board certification in functional neurology, which focuses on health of the brain and spinal cord, and subsequently the whole body. He regularly reads the latest research and attends courses to enhance his knowledge of these topics, enabling him to provide his patients the best care available. Outside his love for chiropractic, Dr. J also makes time to keep himself functioning to the best of his abilities. He makes time for all the seasonal activities of the area like hiking, camping, and snowboarding. Dr. J has a daily yoga practice and regularly participates in Crossfit, with the goal of becoming instructor certified in both within the next few months.
Dr. Tyler Emmert
Dr. Tyler received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Biology as well as his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from the University of Western States in 2012. He has continued his education with certifications in Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) and from the Motion Palpation Institute (MPI).
Natives of Oregon, Dr. Tyler, and his wife, Joanna love living in the Greater Portland area with their five year old daughter and one year old son. Since settling in this area in 2009, they have continued to participate in their community, and Dr. Tyler spent the past two years assisting Active Edge Physical Therapy with the West Linn High School medical staff. Outside of the practice, Dr. Tyler enjoys family time, friends, football, hiking, golfing and is currently training to run the 2018 Portland Marathon as part of his continued focus on exercise and health.
Dr. Tyler appreciates the ability that chiropractic medicine has given him to interact with and care for people of all ages. The common thread amongst his patients is a strong desire to move without restrictions, limitations, or pain. With that end goal in mind, he tailors care to the individual, their structure, the severity of their condition, and their expectations. Using the latest techniques and proven methods, Dr. Tyler safely and efficiently assists patients in their quest for optimal wellness. His focus is to provide patients with high quality care through which they become empowered to achieve life-long health.
